Played this live and it seriously BLOWS my mind this song was not recorded for the album. It's probably one of my favorite songs EVER written by him. I found a very rough acoustic version of the song and a very poor recorded live version on the magnolia website. It sucks so much this song was not recorded for the album.

There are several live versions of that song. If you just search hard enough, you'll find some great recordings.

I heard in an interview (at IndieInterviews.com) that that song is going to be on the next album, which is coming out in September. Can't wait for that one.

This is what I gather the lyrics are from a few of the bootlegs I've heard. Just figured I'd contribute a little something in case anybody had any trouble there.

What Comes after the Blues
Now who was I?
Now who am I?
Lord, what have I done?
Whistle blow down the B & O
Sounds like maybe someone's time has come
What comes after the blues?

See I nailed my guilt
To the back of my eyes
So I see it now before the sun.
Now who was I?
Now who am I?
Lord, what have I done?
What comes after the blues?

Now Noah must have had
a lot of room on that ark
For all of them broken hearts.
Stay with me now,
old crimson pal,
pain like this will even outlive the dark
What comes after the blues?
